I am happy to announce the Corvallis ATLAS.ti Summer Workshop Series, which will take place in Corvallis, Oregon (United States), between July 10 and 14 2017. Internationally renowned trainers from the US, Germany and the UK will teach workshops for beginners as well as a course on approaches to qualitative data analysis with ATLAS.ti. The schedule is as follows:
Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th ATLAS.ti Windows 8 for Beginners. Instructor: Paul Mihas from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. ATLAS.ti Mac for Beginners. Instructor: Ricardo Contreras. Wednesday 12th, Thursday 13th and Friday 14th Approaches to Qualitative Data Analysis with ATLAS.ti Instructors: Dr. Susanne Friese. Author of Qualitative Data Analysis with ATLAS.ti (Sage Publications 2014). Dr. Trena Paulus. Co-author of Digital Tools in Qualitative Research (Sage Publications 2014). Dr. Christina Silver. Co-author of Using Software for Qualitative Analysis: a Step-by-Step Guide (Sage Publications 2014). Dr. Nick Woolf. Co-author with Silver of Qualitative Analysis with ATLAS.ti: The Five-Level Method (Routledge 2017). In this course, the instructors will discuss with participants best practices and approaches to using ATLAS.ti, from the development of an efficient coding system, to discussions of reflexivity in analysis with the software, and analysis strategies and tactics. It will be an exciting opportunity for learning from international experts in qualitative methodology and ATLAS.ti.
